Art

“Every artist was first an amateur.” – Ralph Waldo Emerson

Art has a powerful way of allowing people to express themselves without fear. This makes it a great self-care tool. Research shows that expression through art can help people who are experiencing depression, anxiety, and stress, as well as has been linked to improving memory, reasoning and resiliency.

The best part about art? Everyone can do it. There are so set boundaries or prescribed set of norms. It’s unique to you.

Photographer

Taking photos started out as an interest, turned into a hobby and is now a fascination. It freezes a moment in time. I've had the honor of photographing engagements, expecting mothers, infants, and weddings. However, my original and continual passion is photographing nature.

Being a shutterbug can give you unique perspective if you just take a moment to find that special perspective.

“You don’t take a photograph, you make it.” —Ansel Adams
